Artists that inspire me
Robert Rauschenberg Robert Rauchenberg's technique of transferring images and even using trash in his art has always intrigued me. His "Combines" bring life to his artwork and that's something I think is very important.
Mark Gonzales The Gonz has a strong cult following in skateboarding known for expanding street skating to what it is today and being a wildly interesting individual. He's creative on and off the board, creating whimsical drawings and paintings for galleries or his skateboard company "Krooked Skateboards"
Buz Blurr Buz Blurr otherwise know as the "Colossus of Roads" practices a form of America's oldest graffiti known as train monikers. Hobos during the depression would doodle on the inside of box cars with their own alter ego and for years to come this became a normal practice. Buz Blurr growing older in age has been doing this for decades. You can still see his cowboy tags on freight cars all over the United States. The picture above is one I took last year.
These are just a few too many to add!

I struggled with the image transfer but was able to switch up my methods and it came out pretty good. I didn't want a normal self portrait and I definitely think I accomplished that.
Metamorphosis
The inspiration for my metamorphosis project came from my habit of combing plants and humans, it's always been an easy comparison for me. This wasn't my favorite project. Personally i feel like I could have executed it a little better.
